This was just going to be a peaceful river scene at dusk.  I mixed the gray color using a blue, a red and a yellow, which had the effect of leaving me with some pink where I hadn't been expecting it.  It was still peaceful, but then I had created some turbulence in the air where the sides of the river almost join.  Obviously the setting sun I had intended to put in there didn't make sense anymore. Don't know how to explain what's happening.
