It's a long story, but the title is appropriate.  It involved finishing the painting two months ago, having a new artist nearby accidentally flick turquoise blobs of paint onto my then drying painting, freaking out, scraping off the turquoise,  plus lots of gnashing of teeth while trying to figure out what to do.  Two weeks later, I started to "redo" my painting.  Six weeks and many many layers of paint later, it was much darker, but done.  Whew!
