DESCRIPTION:
 
This started out as a daytime view of the Palisades from Wave Hill. Somehow in the process of experimenting with pastels, it turned into a moonlit scene. Then I sprayed it for preservation and when it dried the painting had disappeared. The spray had darkened everything. Some preservation! So then I repainted and experimented with different sprays until I finally found one that didn’t darken the painting out of existence.
