DESCRIPTION:
 
This painting took forever. First, there was the lake and distant mountains and a somewhat dramatic sky. Then I added the foreground.  Then I added the tree.  Then I modified the sky and the tree several times. Then I added the moon ... and then the cloud over the moon. Then I softened some of the edges by the lake. Every time I looked at it there was something else that needed fixing. In the end, however, it was my favorite tree in Bariloche, Argentina, blown sideways by the constant wind.
