DESCRIPTION:
 
On our Galapagos vacation, we hiked around Santa Cruz island and I particularly liked the view of Cerro Dragon (I think Cerro means hill in Spanish).  The way the water changed color and the dormant volcano (all the Galapagos islands are volcanic) in the background really appealed to me.  The natural beauty of the Galapagos islands is enhanced by the absence of any sign of humanity:  no garbage, no empty water bottles no gum wrappers, no cigarette butts, no nothing.  Only the occasional small, low, wooden sign indicating where to walk showed that other people had been there before us.
