The challenge is how to capture the depth, the movement. In my abstract, acrylic paintings, water sometimes looks like water, but it also sometimes looks like space or sky. Honestly, it’s not something I always control. Some paintings just happen.

I was so unexpectedly happy with Beyond Insight, my just finished red painting, that I decided to create another. But this time the red would be on the inside and the white on the outside (sorta). That was the sum total of my plan. One layer followed the other and 15 (or so) layers later, I had a painting.
