Climate change and the California wildfires are in the news and very much on my mind. My son, his wife and their new son are out there, so this is personal.  A lot of fluid acrylic in reds, oranges, purples and yellows later, I had the beginnnings of a painting.  But it was way too much paint.  The canvas was swimming in it . Moving it around with my (gloved) fingers and mopping it up around the edges with paper towels, here and there adding more yellow, I slowly found the painting.  What a struggle!
